Thermal Fuse
Thermal fuses can be found in electrical and electronic devices that generate heat during operation. They function to cut off the device when the heat is above a certain limit to prevent overheating. Therefore, thermal fuses are also called thermal cutoffs. The circumstance that requires the thermal fuse includes the short circuit and over current in an electronic circuit. Typically speaking, fuses need to be replaced when it is activated. However, the resettable thermal fuse can be reused several times because of its auto-recovery ability. The resettable fuse is highly resistant to overheating and overcurrent. They open the circuit when either circumstance occurs and revert to the original state when the circumstance is lifted. Fumiwa’s thermal fuses fit a variety of applications such as transformers, solenoids, ICs, motors, power supplies, medical equipment, etc.
